Born in Southwick, daughter of Frank and Rose Jarry, she lived there most of her life. She attended local schools, and was a graduate of the Noble Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the Noble Hospital for many years, and also did private-duty nursing.
She was also the owner of Jarry Orchards and several cottages on North Pond of the Congamond Lakes.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Church.
Her husband, Daniel T. Keenan, died in 1967.
She leaves two sons, Daniel F. of Westfield and Dr. Joseph P. Keenan of Blandford; three daughters, Rose-Ellen Sweeney of Wilbraham, Ann Keenan of Blandford, and Mary J. Keenan of Southwick, and four grandchildren.
