Barbara Ott Johansen died March 3, 2009, at Tablerock Healthcare Center, in Kimberling City.
She was born Nov. 17, 1930, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Arthur and Thora Thompson Ott. She and her husband moved to the area in 1979 and owned and operated Sundown Resort, in Baxter, for several years. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She was preceded in death by parents; and husband, Harvey.
Survivors include her son, Donald Johansen, of Davenport, Iowa; daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Susan) Waters, of Ankeny, Iowa, and Mrs. James (Carol) Prochnow, of Reeds Spring; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
