Funeral services for Billy Joe Acreman age 71, were held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove. Rev. Jimbo Herring officiated. Internment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Billy Joe Acreman was born on October 18, 1937 in Epps, La. and passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Oak Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey A. and Uner Thrower Acreman; sisters, Ora Murphy, Annine Ainsworth, and Lula Malone; and in-laws, Evans and Lucy Cutright.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia Acreman of Oak Grove; four children, Brenda Stanley and husband, Jimmy of West Monroe; Kathy Acreman of Oak Grove; Cindy Acreman of Oak Grove; and Joe Acreman of Oak Grove; three brothers, Aubrey L. Acreman of Oak grove; Jessie L. Acreman of Oak Grove; and David E.
