Funeral Services Will Be Conducted at Westminster Presbyterian Church Today.

George Watt Moir Aitken, aged 47 years, died yesterday afternoon about 5 o'clock at his home, 1406 South Tryon street. Mr. Aitken had been in ill health for a long time but his condition had been considered serious for the past several days.

Funeral services will be conducted at Westminster Presbyterian church this afternoon at 4 o'clock by the pastor, Dr. Bunyan McLeod. Interment will follow in Elmwood cemetery. The following have been chosen to act as pallbearers: James Brown, James Paterson, D. S. Monteith, W. T. Campbell, Wilson Bacon, and Herbert Alexander.

Mr. Aitken was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, July 12, 1871, and came to this country 30 years ago. He had resided in Charlotte for several years and was well known and highly esteemed here. He married Miss Barbara Castle in Aberdeen July 12, 1903. She and four children survive him.

Mr. Aitken was a man of strong Christian character, devoted to his family and friends and was highly respected. He was a member and elder of Westminster Presbyterian church.
