Philip Zilch was the son of George Zilch.

He married Elizabeth Lange in 1891 at the Brownhelm Congregational Church in Brownhelm, Lorain Co., OH.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY FOR PHILIP ZILCH

Funeral services for Philip Zilch, 79, who passed away at his home in Brownhelm Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. will be held from the Evangelical church, Brownhelm, at 2:30 Friday, with Rev. McVay officiating.

Mr. Zilch suffered a stroke late Monday afternoon while working in the yard of his home.

Born in Germany, he came to America at the age of eighteen, and had been a resident of Brownhelm for the past sixty-one years. He had been employed for many years as rock foreman at the quarries.

Besides his wife, Lizzie, he is survived by two sons, Carl F., Lorain; and Gust P. Zilch, Amherst; two daughters, Mrs. George Eppley, Brownhelm; and Mrs. Jacob Arndt, in the home; one brother, Werner Zilch, aged 90 years, Lakewood, Ohio, and two grandchildren.

Burial, under the direction of Conrad Zilch, will be made in Brownhelm cemetery.
