Mrs. Roger S. Spies

Mrs. Inez Anna Miller Spies, 77, of 231 Foster Ave., died at 6:30 a.m. today in Elyria Memorial Hospital following a two-year illness.

Born in Amherst Aug. 30, 1890, Mrs. Spies had lived in Elyria 22 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Elyria Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include the husband Roger S.; a son, Henry E. Miller; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Miller and Mrs. Nellie Wells; and five grandchildren. All reside in Elyria. other survivors are a sister Mrs. Ruth Deuschle, Amherst; a brother Edwin C. Lutz, Miami, Fla. A sister and a brother preceded Mrs. Spies in death.

Friends may visit the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Curtis, associate pastor in the First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
