He was born July 17, 1929 in Vermilion where he had been a life long resident.
He worked 30 years as a truck driver for Chapin Truck Lines, Elyria and retired in 1987.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion and Teamsters Union #571.
He enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, and volunteering at the Food Pantry.
Survivors include his sons, Jon and (Karen) Reising of Vermilion, and Rudy and (Joli) Reising of Vermilion; four grandchildren; brothers: David Reising of Lorain, Marlin Reising of Haines City, FL, and Theodore Reising of Norwalk; sisters, Kathleen Miller of Jenson Beach, FL, and Juanita Gundlach of Norwalk; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Reising, in May of this year; parents, Albert and Daisy (nee Kennedy) Reising; brother, Sylvester Reising; sisters, LaVern Brown, Clarice Wallace, and Elvira Baker; and a grandson, Sean Alan Reising.
A graveside service will be held prior to the memorial service on Saturday, September 22, 2007, 10 A.M. at Brownhlem Cemetery, Vermilion.
