They came over in a cargo ship taking 6 weeks. Then they settled in Brownhelm station. Then bought a farm on Cooper Rd. He worked in Quarries and learned to speak English from his Irish buddies-was tall stood very erect and straight- Brown hair and eyes. Grandma Tall and quiet nature(---came from a white collard class in Germany) family.
