YOUNG CHILD PASSES AWAY
Anna Mae, the child of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Grote of Vermilion, was born on September 25, 1923 and died after a brief illness on March 6, 1927 at the early age of three years and five months.
She was in a very real sense a darling in the home. Her cheerfulness and kindheartedness endeared her to everyone. Her parting is like the fading away of a sunbeam, leaving a great void in the hearts of those who dearly loved her.
She leaves to mourn her loss her stricken parents; one brother, Raymond; one half sister, Mary Sennhenn; and two half brothers, Edward and James Sennhenn; two grandparents; her great grandmother; and other relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Primary Class of the Exchange St. M. E. Sunday School and loved to attend the sessions of her class.
Anna Mae is with us no more, but the world is a better place in which to live because for a few brief years she shed abroad the radiance of a pure young soul. Fond memories of her will linger a life time.
With the sadness of such an early ............ is the eager expectancy of a living faith looking to the eternal reuniting on the other shore.
The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the home at 1:30 and at the Exchange St. M. E. Church at 2:00 P. M. Rev. Glenn L. Tennell officiated. Interment was in Brownhelm cemetery.
She died a her home in Vermilion, OH and was buried 8 Mar 1927.
