William Carl Gehrke, Jr. was the son of William Carl and Anna Gehrke.

He married Helen M. Ahlgrim on 14 Apr 1937 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Elyria, Lorain Co., OH. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Ernest Irion.

William died at his home in Elyria Twp., Lorain Co., OH and was buried 14 May 2007.
