ASLEEP IN JESUS - MRS. FANNIE STITH
Mrs. Fannie Stith, wife of Mr. Tom Stith, quietly passed to her reward on Sunday evening, April
28th, at 5:30 o'clock, at her home five miles east of Tulia.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Baptist church by the pastor, Rev. Gordon Barrett; after which the body was accompanied to the Tulia cemetery and tenderly laid to rest in that City of the Dead.
Surely a true and faithful follower of Jesus has gone to reign with Him on high. Her strong faith in God as so fittingly exemplified during her last hours is a strength to her heartbroken and devoted husband, who so tenderly cared for her through these many years of affliction. All possible efforts were made by medical skill and kind nursing to restore her to health again. But God knows best and will fulfill his promise: "I go to prepare a place for you; and will come again and receive you unto
myself, that where I am there you may be also."
May God's richest blessings rest upon the bereaved husband and son and hosts of friends and relatives, who are left to mourn the departure of this good lady.
