Edgar A. Lincoln, 50, a farmer at Rudyard all of his adult life, died Tuesday morning at the Chester hospital. Born December 24, 1904, at Hillsboro, Oregon, he came with his parents, Albert and Elizabeth Lincoln, to the Hi-line area when he was eight. He served with the Army Air Corps from 1924 to 1927. Lincoln homesteaded North of Rudyard and had been engaged in farming since that time. On June 29th, 1935 at Havre, he married Marie Ruth Packer, who survives, as do sons, Joseph Milton (Sandra), Roy Edgar (Fern), Lee Lawrence (Karol) and Arthur Bruce (Janice) and one daughter, Ruth Marie (Fred), all at home; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Lincoln of Rudyard; brothers, Ervin and Donald of Rudyard; and sisters, Mrs. Gladys Torgenson of Seattle, Mrs. Kenneth Jackson of Gildford, and Mrs. Verda Pandis of Great Falls.
Edgar was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens at Havre, and has since been moved to Grace Cemetery north of Rudyard.
