Howard G. Wheeler Jr., 61, husband of Linda Sue Pittman Wheeler, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Versailles, he was a son of the late Howard and Lillian Wheeler Sr.
He was retired from Trane, a Vietnam army veteran, and a member of Meadowthorpe Baptist Church.
Survivors, other than his wife, are: three children, Nancy Jean (Mac) Smith, Harrodsburg, Russell Wayne Wheeler and Heather Elizabeth Wheeler, both of Lexington; six grandchildren, Brittany and Noah Smith, Anthony and Jasmyne Jarrell, Christopher and Tyler Wheeler; and a brother, Donald Wayne (Linda Lou) Wheeler, Lexington; and a niece, April Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street, Lexington. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
