Joseph L. Hiquet, of North Versailles died Dec. 26, 1978 at in the McKeesport Hospital. He was born Oct. 13, 1932 In Saxton, a son of Herman and Genevieve (Gribble) Hiquet. He was united in marriage to Barbara S. Stumme, who survives, along with his mother, of Saxton. Three brothers survive: Paul Hiquet, Stockton. Calif.; Alex Hiquet, Terre Haute, Ind. and Dennis Hiquet, Harrisburg. The deceased was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a former secretary of the Broad Top Chamber of Commerce. Hiquel worked as a field auditor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
