BENTON -- Carrie I. Huitt, 91, of Benton, died Wednesday at Saline Nursing Center at Benton.

She was born Nov. 24, 1911, at Ingalls (Bradley County), a daughter of the late Willie Avery Baker and Dovie Nina Milholland Baker. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death on Aug. 30, 1989, by her husband, Clarence I. Huitt, whom she married Feb. 22, 1936; three brothers, Otis Baker, Joe Willie Baker and Quince Baker; three sisters, Annie Lee Langston, Marie Baker and an infant sister; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include one son, Jerrell R. Huitt, Little Rock; one sister, Lorraine B Cooper, Camden; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren with the Rev. Sidney Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls.
