Mrs. Rosanna G. Martin passed away at her home in Through Creek Valley on Monday evening, January 25, 1943 at seven o'clock. She was born August 4, 1861, hence at time of death was aged 81 years, five months, and 21 days. Mrs. Martin was the daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret (Griffith) Keith. Her husband R. Scott Martin, preceded her in death 24 years ago.
Surviving are the following children: Joseph E. Martin; Ora, wife of Granville Pleasant; Emma, wife of Grover C. Keith, all of Broad Top City, R.D. Two sons Cloyd and Edgar are deceased. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lorena Edwards, Huntingdon, and one half sister and brother, Mrs. May Griffith of Broad Top City, R.D. and Philip Keith of Cassville.
Funeral services will be held at the Asbury church, Thursday morning, January 28, at 10:45, in charge of the Rev. John A. Hoover. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. McClain's funeral service.
