Well-Known Citizen of Charlotte Dies This Morning at Sanatorium.
Mr. F. W. Ross, a well-known citizen of Charlotte, passed away this morning at the Charlotte Sanatorium, where he had been confined for the past 10 days following an operation. Mr. Ross had for the past several years been head electrician for the Belk Bros.' sotres in this city, and possessed a host of friends throughout the county. He was born and reared in Charlotte, and had made his home here all of his life.
Deceased was 65 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children, Messrs. William G. Ross of this city, Frank Ross of Wilmington, and Miss Mary Ross. One sister, Mrs. C. P. Henderson, who is ill at the Presbyterian Hospital, also survives.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock from the residence, 303 North Chruch street. The services will be conducted by Rev. William Walker, supply pastor of the First Baptist Church.
