MRS. PRITCHETT DIES AT HOME ON GRAHAM STREET

Funeral Services Will Be Conducted at Late Residence This Afternoon at 3 O'Clock.

Mrs. Annie Faires Pritchett, wife of C. S. Pritchett, died yesterday morning about 9:30 o'clock at her home, 703 North Graham street. Mrs. Pritchett had been ill for several weeks. She was 64 years old.

Born in Mecklenburg county, Mrs. Pritchett came to Charlotte 43 years ago, on marrying Mr. Pritchett, to make her home. She had resided here since and was well known as a devout Christian. She was one of the oldest members of the First Baptist church and when her health would permit was a regular attendant at the services. The date of her birth was October 13, 1854. Her husband, C. S. Pritchett, has a large acquaintance here.

Surviving her, besides her husband, is one son, W. A. Pritchett, a member of the clerical force of the Charlotte postoffice. Mrs. Pritchett also leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary McCall, and four brothers, G. N. Faires, L. W. Faires, William Faires and John Faires, all residing in Mecklenburg county.

Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the late residence. Dr. Luther Little, pastor of the First Baptist church, will be in charge of the services, assisted by Rev. L. R. Pruett, pastor of Ninth Avenue Baptist church. Interment will take place in Elmwood cemetery.

The pallbearers are as follows: J. D. McCall, M. J. Sherrill, J. T. Farrington, B. F. Withers, G. L. Ellis, E. E. Ridenhour.

The funeral of Mrs. Annie Faires Pritchett, wife of C. S. Pritchett, was held at the late residence, 703 North Graham street, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Dr. Luther Little, pastor of the First Baptist church, and Rev. L. R. Pruett, pastor of the East Avenue Baptist church, officiating. Interment took place in Elmwood cemetery.

Mrs. Pritchett died at her home Sunday morning about 9:30 o'clock after an illness of several weeks.
