Kirk
CAMERON — Funeral services for Beatrice Kirk, 89, of Cameron were held Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Marlow Baptist Church near Cameron with Brother Wayne Kirk officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Mrs. Kirk died Sunday, March 1, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Sept. 11, 1919, in Milam County to Thornton and Elizabeth Lodema (Morgan) Walker.
She married Thomas Marvin "Tommy" Kirk on July 12, 1947, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2001.
Mrs. Kirk had worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Hefley Stedman Motor Co.
She was a member of Marlow Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kirk was also preceded in death by a sister, Flonnie Boland, and a brother, Luther Walker.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Kirk and wife Jeanie of Milano, Jack Kirk and wife Cindy of Snook; and two daughters, Elizabeth Sears of Arlington, Paula Woods and husband Mark of Cameron; also, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Scott & White Hospice or to Marlow Baptist Church.
