Mrs. C. C. Swick died suddenly Thursday morning at the family home in Ridge township. She was in apparently good health and retired Wednesday evening as usual and early Thursday morning she called to her husband that she was not feeling wells. She died a short time afterwards. An examination was had and the death was pronounced due to apoplexy.

Everyone was grieved to hear the news of the death of Mrs. C. C. Swick. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in Woodland cemetery at Van Wert. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the neighborhood.
