SANDY-- Our special mother, grandmother and friend Beulah Taylor Cottam passed away May 10,2000 in Sandy, Utah at the age of 87. She was born Oct. 24, 1912 in New Harmony, UT, to William Penn and Lurene Pace Taylor. She married William Pritchard Cottam Jan. 1, 1932 in Las Vegas, NV. Beulah was a compassion-ate, caring person who worked for many years as a nurse in St. George, Utah and Phoenix, Arizona.She was a talented home maker who loved to cook and sew. She was very proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beulah is survived by a son and three daughters: Brent Cottam of St. George, UT; Koloha (Doyle) McMullin of Henderson, NV; Lou Mae (Ray) Yocom of Sandy UT; Arthea (M.B.) Rahimzadeh of Salt Lake City, UT; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Verda (Dean) Macfarlane and Ila Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister and great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 300 West St. George Blvd. St. George, UT. Friends and family may call Sunday, May 14, from 6-7 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-10:30 am at Metcalf Mortuary. Interment in the St. George City Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary -Deseret News, Friday, May 12, 2000
