Barbara Jean Ford Dingman, 70, of Fulton, NY, and Spring Hill, FL, passed away unexpectedly February 20, 2009, in Spring Hill. She was born in Fulton on November 15, 1938, to Vivian Smith and George K. Ford Sr. Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Harold Dingman, in 2004 and two brothers, George K. Ford Jr. and Walter C. Ford. She is survived by her loving companion, John Nuyen of Spring Hill, FL; three children, Sherry (Bill) Davis and Brian (Nathalie) Dingman, all of Oswego, and Sandy (Bruce) Wells of Fulton; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by a brother, Chester K. (Marilyn) Ford of Fulton and a sister, Phyllis Ford of Red Springs, NC, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service was held in Brooksville, FL, at Countryside Estates on February 25, 2009. Final resting place will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Grace Lutheran Church, corner of East Sixth and Lawrence streets, Oswego.
