She was born Feb. 16, 1922, in Evening Shade, daughter of John and Sarah Manes Cassidy. She and Everett Hildebrand were married March 19, 1938.
She worked many years at Fort Leonard Wood. She enjoyed playing the guitar, crocheting rugs, quilting and cooking.
She was a charter member of the American Legion Post #470 and was also a member of First Baptist Church of Edgar Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Damon Lee; a brother; and a sister.
Survivors include a daughter, Eyvonne Brown of Beulah; a grandson; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Services were March 2, 2009, at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Case officiating. Burial was in Palace Cemetery near Evening Shade.
