Joel Edward Williams, 47, died August 1 in Lubbock, Texas.
Mr. Williams was born June 10, 1926 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was a resident of Casa Grande for the last 30 years and was employed by the San Carlos Irrigation Project for the last 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; three sons, Jerry, of Santa Ana, California, Kenny and Steve, both of Casa Grande; four sisters, Mrs. Lois Nelson, of Tyler, Texas, Elsie Corley, of Durant, Oklahoma, Eva Burke, of Hugo, Oklahoma, and Louise Kirkland, of Casa Grande.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, at the Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Elmer Geesy, of Tempe, officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, under the direction of Cole and Maud Mortuary.
