Susan Rebecca Acree is the daughter of Pleasant Albin Acree (1858-1923) and Celestial Octavia Shaun (1856-1924). She married (1st) Martin Oscar Jones (1891-1960). She married (2nd) Joseph Henry Strain (1890-1970).

MRS. REBECCA JONES STRAIN
Mrs. Rebecca Jones Strain, 86, of Conyers, died Sunday afternoon (Aug. 9) in Rockdale County Hospital, following several days of illness. She was the former Rebecca Acree of Gordon County.
Survivors include, two sons, Ray and Larry Jones, both of Conyers; four daughters, Mrs. N. V. Swart of Stone Mountain, Mrs. Margaret J. Long of Forsyth, Mrs. Aline Biering of Granada Hill, Calif., and Mrs. Gwen J. Nunnally of Decatur. Also 14 grandchilden and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. H. P. McDonald officiating. Nephews served as pallberarers and interment was in Gaines Cemetery. THOMAS FUNERAL HOME.
