AUGUST PHILLIP

A requiem mass for August Phillip, a former storekeeper at the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company will be offered 9 am Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church S 21st and W Mitchell st. Mr. Phillip died Wednesday at St. Luke's hospital. He lived 3326 w Mitchell St.
Mr. Phillip was a native of Germany. He was President of the St. Vincent Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul parish; a former vice-president of Group 10, Polish Association of America, former president of the Allis-Chalmers credit union, and a member of his parish Holy Name Society.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Marie Wiese, 2 brothers Frank and Paul Phillip, all of Milwaukee.
Burial will be in St. Adalbert's cemetery; The body will be at the Rembowski Funeral Home, 2408 e St Frances ave, town of Lake after 6 pm Saturday.
