Tommy Riley, 56, of Eddyville, formerly of Benton, died at 1:10 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Riley was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 181 and a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his companion, Bobbie Ann Yates of Eddyville; one daughter, Amanda Riley of Gilbertsville; one stepdaughter, Amy Story of Benton; one stepson, Kalen Jones of Benton; a grandson, Trevor Ellenberger of Gilbertsville; a stepgranddaughter, Jansen Story of Benton; two sisters, Virginia Thorn of Gilbertsville and Julia McConnell of Fredonia; and one brother, William S. Riley of Benton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mickey Hall and Charles Louis Hall. His parents were William H. Riley and Nettie Henson Riley.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Holt and the Rev. Darrin Miller will officiate and burial will follow in Marshall County Memory Gardens.
