EVANSTON-Randall L. Andrews Sr., 29, Evanston, died Wednesday at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn., following a stroke. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church, Fort Dodge, with the Rev. George Den Hartog officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Bruce memorial Chapel, Fort Dodge.
Survivors include his wife, Lily; son, Randall Lee Jr., daughter, Tammy Jean, both at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Andrews Sr., Evanston; brothers, Douglas, Callender, David, Evanston, Benjamin Jr., Coalville; grandmother, Mrs. Bridget Andrews, Evanston.
He was born in Fort Dodge, started his education in the country schools in Evanston and later attended Coalville and Otho Schools. He finished his education at Fort Dodge Senior High School. He married Lily Mauch in 1975 at Fort Dodge. They made their home in Coalville. He was employed at Glynn Construction and later worked for IBP, Fort Dodge, for eight years. He was then employed at the Fort Dodge Asphalt Company. He became ill Sunday following a stroke and was admitted to Trinity Regional Hospital. He was then transferred to St. Marys the same day.
