MRS. GEORGE WALKER

Mrs. Kathryn Walker, nee Nahm, 72, of 415 South Lake St., Amherst, died yesterday at Lorain Community Hospital after an illness of 10 days.

Mrs. Walker was born in Norwalk and had lived in Amherst 42 years. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Her husband, George, died in 1956.

Surviving are two sons, George E. of Bay Village and Robert J. of Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Dorothy) Kurth and Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Muska, both of Amherst; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Harry Smithberger, Lorain. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends today, 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, where the funeral will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert A. Hapel will officiate. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.

The family has requested memorial contributions be to St. Peter's United Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
