FINAL RITES FOR L. SCHIEFERSTEIN

Final rites for Louis L. Schieferstein, aged 76, who died on Monday at his home 813 Elyria avenue, were held Thursday afternoon at the Emmerich Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerome A.Wenner officiating.
Mr. Schieferstein, who was born in Amherst and had spent his entire life in this vicinity, was formerly employed as a foreman in the grinding department of the U. S. Automatic Corp., until his retirement in 1949. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church.
His survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Florence Hollingsworth and Mrs. John Gauman; two sons, Henry of Toledo and Nelson of Lorain; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wragg, Amherst and Mrs. Amelia Pomeroy, Elyria; three brothers, Carl and George, Amherst, and John, Sheffield Lake.
Burial was made in Crown Hill cemetery.
