I found this information my grandpa had written down, It says, born July 1, 1893 in Amherst township, Lorain County, Ohio. Moved to Kipton in 1898. Attended grade school on the Telegraph Road (Now U.S. 20) until 1905. Returned to Amherst and settled on the farm on Highway 58. Completed education in their town High School in 1908.
Enrolled in the Oberlin School of Commerce for courses for further business training, graduating in 1911.
On October 10th accepted a position with The Cleveland Provision Co. in their general offices, and remained in their employ until 1918.
Completed service in the U.S. Army Quartermasters in December 1918.
Upon discharge from the service returned to Cleveland and joined the Brokerage Firm of Grace & Co., remaining until 1925. In 1926 establishing the Firm of Schibley & Ossman, Inc, which operated as agents for manufacturers until retirement in 1954.
Before retiring from the business, Loren Schibley joined the company and he was president of Schibley Solvents & Co., Inc. Upon his death, His son's took over the Company, and it still is in business today.

In Loving memory we pay tribute today to the life and witness of our dear brother Myron Schibley. He was born July 1, 1893 and passed into the presence of the the Lord on January 28, 1985 at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 27 days. he was laid to rest in his hometown of Amherst, Ohio.
He was one of the organizing members of our church, donated our Hammond Organ, and sang in our choir until Spring of 1983. We welcome his family as they worship with us today and share in our tribute and memorial of Myron. The choir's anthem, one of Myron's favorite Gospel songs, is in his memory.

He was born in Amherst, July 1, 1893, where he was reared and attended school. From 1941 to 1965 he resided in Westlake and for the past 27 years in Orlando.
In 1926, Schibley became a partner and president of Schibley-Ossman Inc. in Cleveland, a chemical distributor throughout Ohio and neighboring States. He retired in December 1954. The company now known as Schibley Solvents and Chemicals, Inc., is owned by his son.
Schibley was a member of the Franklin Circle Church, Cleveland, and a past president of the Kiwanis. he graduated from Oberlin Business College in 1922.
