This is a poem my Mom wrote to my Grandma
We're really sure what the Good Lord Needs-is someone to help him plant the seeds- So flowers will Bloom in the "Clouds of Love"-as we on Earth- All Look Above. He Must have chosen you because he knew-you'd make a garden so lovely-so rare-It would be a treasure for all to share! The trees-the Flowers-the Corn so tall! What wonderful memories you've given us all. We won't say goodbye with tears of sorrow! We will instead look toward tomorrow! Knowing you're safe within his care-and knowing his Love is everywhere.
Gladys L. Heuer married Myron Schibley August 28,1919, They met while working at the Provision Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
Obituary from The Plain Dealer dated 6-20-1985. Gladys L. Schibley, 87 years of age of Orlando, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, June 18th, following a short illness.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was raised in Cleveland and lived in Westlake from 1941 to 1958. She has made her home for the past 27yrs in Orlando. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron W.,in January of 1985. They had been married 67 years at the time.
Mr Schibley, was a partner and past President of the Schibley-Ossman Corp., of Cleveland.
Surviving,are two sons, Loren of Westlake and Glenford of Orlando, Fla., Seven Grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, 11am, in Crown Hill Cemetery in Amherst.
Family suggests that memorial contributions, be made to charity of choice.
