Funeral services were held on Saturday for Howard Glen Messerole, 55, of 126 Forest street, was pronounced dead on arrival at Amherst Hospital early Thursday morning. He had a heart ailment.
Born in Brownhelm, Mr. Messerole lived in this area all of his life. He was employed as custodian at Marion L. Steele high school . A veteran of World War II, he was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and the Elmer Johnson American Legion Post 118.
Survivors include his widow, Alice, to whom he had been married 21 years, and a brother, Russell of Brownhelm.
Services were held at the Emmerich-Hempel Funeral Home with the Rev. Guy J. Moyer, officiating. Burial was in Crownhill cemetery.
