SERVICES HELD FOR HENRY HOLLE
Funeral services for Henry Holle, aged 87, a resident of Amherst for sixty-eight years, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church with Rev. Wenner officiating.
Mr. Holle's death occurred at his residence 213 Elyria avenue and had been in ill health for some time. Born in Westfelen, Germany, he came to Amherst in 1888. He was employed by the Cleveland Quarries Company as yard foreman for 40 years, until his retirement.
Preceded in death by his wife Kathryn in 1952 he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruben Hollingsworth, and one son, Elmer Holle, both of Amherst; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Peter's church for many years and active in its' work.
Burial was made in Crownhill cemetery with the Emmerich Funeral Home in charge.
