Mrs. Elsie M. Holle (nee Herbst), 77, a former longtime resident of Elryia Avenue in Amherst, died August 20 at the Chapel Hill Home in Canal Fulton, Ohio, after a short illness.
She was born in Amherst, Dec. 29, 1907, and lived in Amherst all of her life until moving to Canal Fulton 2 1/2 years ago.
Mrs. Holle was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Amherst, where she was a former choir member, Sunday schoolteacher and member of the Circle Six.
Surviving are a son, Richard E. of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Brinks of Grand Rapids, Mich.; four granddaughters; and sisters Mrs. Raymond (Amelia) Nickel and Mrs. Ivor (Helen) Stockstill, both of Amherst, and Mrs. Scott (Florence) VanAusdale of Oberlin. Her husband, Elmer F., died May 31, 1972.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter United Church of Christ, Amherst.
