ALVIN HELLER FUNERAL RITES

Funeral services for Alvin Nelson Heller, 54, Church street, will be held from the Zilch funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. C. C. Vandersall will officiate at the funeral service.
Heller is the son of the late Julious and Julia Heller and was born and lived his entire life in the Church street home. He was a member of the Amherst K of P lodge, and had been an employee of the New York Central Railroad company since December 11, 1910, and switch tower operator in Amherst until 1939 when he was transferred to Elyria, where he remained until April, 1945. He had been on leave of absence since that time. He was stricken early Tuesday morning with a cerebral hemorrhage and died 26 hours later.
Survivors include two brothers, Louis and William, Amherst, and one half-brother, John M. Frank, Adams Run, South Carolina, and two sisters, Edith, at home, and Lydia, Farrell, Pennsylvania.
Burial will be made in Crownhill cemetery.
