MRS. HERMAN EHLERT SUCCUMBS SUNDAY
Double Pneumonia Fatal to Young Amherst Woman -- Double pneumonia ended the life Sunday of Mrs. Herman Ehlert, of North Main street, who passed away at Toledo hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Ehlert was called to Gypsum several days ago by the severe illness of her mother, and contracted her fatal ailment while there. When it became evident that her condition was serious she was removed to the Toledo institution where she died. Her mother, Mrs. McNutt, died shortly after her arrival at Gypsum, and was buried Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Ehlert was 32 years of age at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical church, the Philathea Bible class, the Ladies' Aid Society, and a member of the Eastern Star. She was emmployed for some time in the office of the U. S. Automatic. She is survived by her husband, Herman Ehlert, of Amherst; her father, T. H. McNutt of Gypsum; two sisters, Miss Eunice McNutt, of Gypsum, and Mrs. Voerman of Put-in-Bay.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from St. Peter's church with Rev. C. E. Schmidt officiating. Private services preceded the church rites, from the home. Interment was made in Crownhill cemetery.
