ELMER CAHL
AMHERST — Word was received Monday by Mrs. Hugh Tomkins of West Martin street, that her nephew, Elmer Cahl, 38, a former Amherst resident passed away at Denver, Col. Monday.
Elmer was the son of Mrs. Augusta Cahl-Klassen.
He is survived by his foster father, Nick Klassen, Elyria; five aunts, Mrs. Tomkins, Mrs. John Worthington, Mrs. Charles Mathes, Mrs. William Hutton, all of Amherst; Mrs. M. Reaume, Dearborn. Mich., three uncles, Albert George and William Cahl, Amherst; Herman Cahl, Elyria.
The body is being shipped to Amherst for burial and funeral arrangements in charge of Conrad Zilch will be announced later.
