MRS. NICK KLASSEN, SISTER OF ELYRIAN, IS DEAD AT AMHERST
Amherst, March 7, - Mrs. Augusta Klassen, well-known resident passed away at the local hospital last evening, death due to acute indigestion.
She was 37 years of age and is survived by her husband, Nick Klassen, one son, Elmer, and her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. August Cahl; five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Chas. Mathes, Mrs. S. Tompkins, and Mrs. William Hutton, all of Amherst; Mrs. John Worthington, Elyria, and Mrs. Marcel Reaume of Detroit, Mich.; William, Albert and Herman, of Amherst, and George, in the U. S. navy, located at Rhode Island.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed, awaiting word from her brother George in the navy, and sister, Mrs. Thompkins, who was called to Niles, O., on account of the death of their niece.

JACKSON STREET RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY TUESDAY
Mrs. Nicholas Klassen of Jackson street died at the local hospital Tuesday evening at 8:30 following an operation, performed only a few minutes before. The cause of her death is unknown.
The deceased was thirty-seven years of age and has been a resident of Amherst the greater part of her life. She was a member of the Ladies Aid society of St. Peter's Evangelical church and also a member of the Rebekah lodge here.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Cahl of North Main street, five sisters, Mrs. Chas. Mathes, Mrs. Hugh Tompkins, Mrs. Wm. Hutton of Amherst; Mrs. Marcel Reem of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. John Worthington of Elyria; four brothers, Harmon, William and Albert Cahl of Amherst, and George, who is now in the United Stated Navy. She is also survived by her husband and one son, Elmer.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday from St. Peter's Evangelical church at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. A. Egli officiating. Burial will be made in Crownhill cemetery.
