AMHERST RESIDENT 49 YEARS, DIES

Following a year's illness, Mrs. Augusta Barris, 68, died at her home, 562 Middle-st, last Thursday.

She has been a resident of Amherst for 49 years, coming here from Germany at the age of 19.

Survivors are three sons, Walter, William and Nelson, Amherst; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Krieg, Amherst and Mrs. Clement Piper of Cleveland, one sister, Mrs. Fred Sprausf, Amherst and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Zilch-Funeral Home with Rev. C. E. Schmidt, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed church of which she was a member, in charge. Burial was made at Crown Hill cemetery.
