Mrs. Rhoda Blacketer, mother of Mr. George Blacketer, Jr., and grandmother of our great baseball pitcher, Mr. Thomas Blacketer, died on Saturday morning and after services at the house by Rev. E. Winkler, her remains were laid to rest in the Junction City cemetery at 4 P.M. She was a consistent member of the church and a fine old lady, who left many friends to mourn her loss.
