Mrs. Moeur's Mother Dies
Mrs. Susan Arbelle Anderson, mother of Mrs. B. B. Moeur, died unexpectedly about 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the governor's home in Tempe.
She contracted influenza last Tuesday, but her illness was not believed of a serious nature until shortly before her death. She was 82 years old and had resided in Tempe for 22 years.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Sedalia, Mo., Jan 12, 1854, and moved as a child to Brackettville, Tex, moving into her own home in Tempe in 1914. Her husband died there eight years ago.
She had been residing with Governor and Mrs. Moeur for the past year.
Surviving besides Mrs. Moeur, are two sons, M. A. Anderson, Casa Grande, and Thanks Anderson, Tempe, and six other daughters, Mrs. J. T. Burchett and Mrs. W. C. Carver, Tempe; Mrs. Dudley Windes, Phoenix; Mrs. John F. Dooley, Brackettville; Mrs. Frank Gardiner, San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Harry Laughran, Compton, Calif.
