Funeral services were held for Will Earl Elkins, 91, of Hurst, Texas, March 20, 1999, at 2 p.m. from Church of God in Hurst, Texas. Graveside services were held March 22, 1999 at 3 p.m. from Union Missionary Baptist Church.

A native of Richton, he died March 17.

Survivors include his wife, Oretha E. Elkins of Hurst, Texas; two step-sons, John Tyree (Elaine) of Clifton, OK and Richard Tyree (Suzie) of Keller, Texas; three daughters, Hazel Taylor of El Chaon, Calif., Earline (Bill) Peleaz of Biloxi and Jannie (John) Omas of Hurst, Texas and 17 grandchildren.

Rev. Charles Sullivan, grandson, Jerry Omas and Rev. J. N. Long officiated the services.
