Preceded in Death by: by First Wife of 55 years, Audrey Clem Abernathy, and three brothers.
Member of the Market Street Church of Christ. Former owner of Abernathy motors, Publisher of the Limestone Reporter, The Decatur Free Press and two shopper newspapers, and Abernathy Masonry, Pahokee, FL.
