Relict of Rev.d George Buist D. D. Aged 68 years, 5 months and 11 days. Here lies the kindest, best of mothers / The most devoted and affectionate sisters / This monument is erected to her beloved memory by her surviving sons & daughters, on whose hearts are indeliby impressed by her many brilliant parental virtues and Christian piety. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
She was the daughter of Captain John Somers.
