Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott, aged 70 years, 9 months, and 15 days passed from this life at her home northeast of Brunswick, December 18, 1915, after about a week's illness of pneumonia.
She was before her marriage, June 21, 1866, to Mr. Henry Elliott, Miss Elizabeth Dearing. Mr. Elliott preceded her to the grave 41 years ago and her one son J. J. Elliott, three daughters, Mrs. G. L. Glenn, of Milan, Mrs. James Britt, of Huntsville and Mrs. Ed Watkins, of Pueblo, Colorado, are left to mourn her death. She also leaves three brothers, James and Jerome Dearing of this place and J. O. Dearing of Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Martin and Miss Rena Dearing and many other relatives and friends by whom she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday by Rev. Newman, of Triplett, after which her remains were laid to rest, in Hazel Ridge cemetery.
