William A. Carpenter died last Sunday in Seminole, Okla. He was 78, a native and resident of Seminole.

He is survived by a brother, C.O. Carpenter of Konawa, Okla.; three sons, William E. (Tex) Carpenter of Baton Rouge, J.C. Carpenter of Oklahoma City and Perry Carpenter of Seminole; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
