On Oct. 13, 1886 she was married to Mr. Watkin by the Rev. C. H. Harris, pastor of the Florence Methodist Church. The couple lived two years each in Westdale and Florence, then purchased the Baldwin farm, River Road, where they lived 35 years. Sixteen years ago they retired and lived at Empey Ave. and Second St. until a short time ago. Mr. Watkin died Oct. 15, 1939.
Mrs. Watkin was a member of the Methodist Church for 41 years and a member of Central Asbury Circle 30 years. She was a member of Camden Grange and an active member and trustee for years of Camden Chapter, O.E.S.
She leaves, besides the daughter at whose home she died, a son, Earl P. Watkin, superintendent of schools in Ilion; three grandchildren, Donald Watkin and Earl and Jane Curtiss; a sister, Mrs. E. W. Sanford, and nieces and nephews, Camden.
