Betty J (Pelphrey)Estep,age 74,of West Jefferson,passed away Wednesday March 4,2009 in Mt. Carmel West Hospital,Columbus.She was born July 26,1934 in Johnson County, Ky.,the daughter of the late Alex and Elizabeth Pelphrey. Betty retired from Sears Distribution and was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Jefferson.
She was a loving wife,mother,grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include; husband Edgar O. "Ed" Estep;son,Jeffrey L.Estep and daughter, Carol (Geoff) Langemeier,all of West Jefferson; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown,Rachel Estep, Eric, T.J. and Ian Langemeier; two great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday in the Rader-McDonald Funeral Home West Jefferson, where Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Glade May officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson.
