James Arthur "Bud" Austin, age 88, of Norman, passed away January 30, 2014. He was born September 30, 1925, in a covered wagon, in a cotton field, in Altus, OK. Bud was one of nine children. He worked in the body shop at Dub Richardson Ford. Bud enjoyed watching live wrestling, NASCAR, fishing and hunting. He loved going to his farm working with his cattle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Vera Austin; his wife, Lois Austin; 5 brothers, Arnold Austin, Don Austin, John Austin, Houston Austin and Jimmy Austin; 1 sister, Betty Miller; and 1 son, Tommy Austin.
